Benton Gas System services the citizens of Marshall County with natural gas. Currently serving over 6440 customers. Benton Gas serve areas is from Kenlake Marina to McCracken County line in Sharpe, and areas in between. Benton Gas has over 300 miles of main gas lines in the ground.
We are owned and governed by the City of Benton.

Credit card payments via telephone can be made by calling 1-833-699-7678. Credit card payments in office have a 2% processing fee.
Bank draft service is available with a draft day at the 20th of each month.
Bills will be mailed to customers by the 10th, and will be due by the 25th without penalty. The last pay date is the 5th of each month otherwise the service will be disconnected on the 6th, payment arrangements may be made in office prior to the 6th of the month.

Reconnect Fee: $50 will be added to the delinquent amount
Meter Deposits for Property Owners are $75, Renters $125
Tap-on-Fee $275, plus $3 per foot from location of main to house foundation.
$25 measuring fee application required up front, then applied to tap-on-fee if gas service is accepted, the application is good for 6 months. Otherwise, non-refundable.

$8.70 minimum bill (property owner), plus school tax
$11.00 minimum bill (renter), plus school tax
